Brad Pitt seeks joint custody in divorce from Angelina Jolie

The former Friends star was apparently unaware of her own strength during an early fight scene

Brad Pitt has filed for joint custody of the six children he shares with Angelina Jolie.

Pitt is seeking joint and physical custody of their six children in the divorce documents obtained by CNN.

Pitt filed his intention to seek joint custody for Maddox, 15; Pax, 12; Zahara, 11; Shiloh, 10; and 8-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox at the Los Angeles Courthouse.

According to reports, the issues stem from an alleged incident that took place between a boozed-up Pitt and one of the kids on a private plane on September 14, 2016. While Maddox is still fuming mad and has even reportedly gone so far as to deny Pitt is even his father, Pax and Shiloh are pining away for their dad and a new Hollywood Life report suggests that they are asking to go live with him. While some have pointed out to Pitt's infidelity with co-star, others have pointed out to Jolie's sagging career with the most recent reporting that Brad Pitt is losing friends and family because of his estranged wife.

Angelina Jolie is apparently anxious that she might lose custody of her kids because of all the secrets she still harbors from her very dark past. However, both Pax and Shiloh, two of Brangelina kids, admitted that they would choose to live with Brad Pitt rather than with Jolie.

The pair recently sold a home they purchased in New Orleans' French Quarter for US$4.9 million (NZ&6.7 million). Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt still have to hammer out the details of their divorce and child custody arrangements as they head toward finalizing their split. He would be able to visit their children but with supervision. To make matter worse for Brad, the family and more specifically, the altercation is being investigated by DCFS.
