Obama's final push: Whirlwind 3-state tour for Clinton

It was, in its choreography and its tone, a symbolic passing of the torch.

In a star-studded rally on election eve here, the First Lady joined her husband President Barack Obama to rally voters a final time in support of the 69-year-old former secretary of state. Mr. Obama called the Republican opponent "uniquely unqualified" for the presidency, while Donald Trump, Jr., told Detroit supporters that "liberal, activist judges" are legislating from the bench. "Right here. With people who pledged their lives, their fortunes, their sacred honor, to form a more flawless union". "She needs to win". "I am also emotional because in many ways, speaking here tonight is perhaps the last and most important thing that I can do as the country's first lady".

However, with a core mission of promoting Hillary Clinton, hours before the Presidential elections yoday, Obama asked voters to trust on whatever credibility he had earned through his eight years as a President and vote for the Democratic presidential nominee.

Philadelphia was chosen not just for its elegant symbolism.

Both the Clinton and Trump campaigns held events in New Hampshire on the last day before the elections. "Now Director Comey has confirmed it", Clinton campaign spokesman Brian Fallon said on Sunday.

"If we win here, she's got a pretty good chance of winning", Kennedy said. Go out there and vote. "Hillary Clinton represents a set of values that millennials and young students all represent and feel strongly about". Will we be coming together as a nation, or splitting further apart.

"I am here to ask you to vote for yourself, vote for your family, vote for your futures", Clinton said at her first event of the day in Pittsburgh.

"You gave me a chance" he told the diverse crowd gathered on a chilly night in the City of Brotherly Love.

"That is the next President of the United States, Hillary Clinton".

"Don't boo", Obama said. But his own accomplishments would be for nothing unless Hillary could build on them, he added.

"He thinks that's smart", the president said, "but that means he's not making a dime's contribution to caring for our vets, to supporting our troops, to rebuilding our roads". He conceded that he hadn't counted on the obstruction of Republicans in his first year in office, didn't anticipate "the way social media would magnify our differences and muddy up facts". He promised Clinton would "work her heart out" and told voters not to believe the "nonsense" coming from Trump, who has made unsubstantiated claims the US election is "rigged" against him. "But despite all that..." She'll work her heart out to keep America respected and strong and safe.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m.to 8 p.m. on Election Day.

Obama also said he was confident that young voters would go to the polls on Tuesday, because their future "is at stake" in these elections and said that African-Americans will choose the next president not because of the colour of their skin, but because of the abilities.
