Ark: Survival Evolved PS4 Version Coming Out Next Week

It's coming right for

Recently there was confirmation that dinosaur survival game ARK: Survival Evolved has passed the certification process for PS4, and now Studio Wildcard has announced that the game will be available on PS4 from December 6th in what it is calling the ARK: Survivor's Pack.

With Ark Park, Snail Games intends to provide a large theme park experience where "players will participate in a multiplayer tour, so they can share the visceral gameplay and the thrill of witnessing dinosaurs up-close and personal", according to their announcement of the game.

The "final" release has been rumoured to be Q4 2016/Q1 2017, having already been nudged back a few times, but it does seem that we won't really know that ARK is out of Early Access until the day the Steam store page changes, and the caveat-heavy Early Access notification disappears from the listing.

The bundle will be available for $54.99 Dollars in North American regions, or €49.99 in Europe.

Performance wise, the base PS4 version of Ark Survival Evolved will be on par with the Xbox One version and both will run on the same client version. In the USA, the game will cost $54.99 - a high price when compared to the PC version's $29.99 price tag, but that's because the game comes bundled with its first expansion pack, Scorched Earth.

The unforgiving landscape and flesh-eating Dinosaurs of ARK: Survival Evolved will finally be terrorizing PS4 players.
