Manpreet Singh led team beaten 3-2 in thrilling match

India vs Malaysia

Many including the coach were frustrated with the game team India played. A minute later, Tengku Tajuddin doubled the score with another successful PC conversion. Malaysia keeper Subramiam came up with a brilliant save to deny Akashdeep Singh when he was set up by Chinglensana for a goal.

Pakistan, on the other hand, have improved since their 7-1 defeat and have fought hard, including a 1-3 loss against Olympic champions Argentina.

India did manage to create a few opening even as Malaysia fell back to defend the lead, but the strikers sprayed the shots wide.

Mirco Pruijser chipped in with two goals, while Robbert Kemperman, Jonas de Geus, Billy Bakker, Bjorn Kellerman and Tristan Algera all got on the scoresheet in a rampant display from the Dutch team.

After the change of ends, India continued to dominate and earned two penalty corners in quick succession but Harmanpreet Singh failed to deliver.
