Apple will soon be able to block iPhone texts while you're driving

What do you think of this new iOS 11 feature? The iOS 11 mobile operating system now paves way to awesome possibilities for augmented reality in games as well as apps.

As noted by idownloadblog.com, iOS 11 has a new toggle setting called Offload Unused Apps under Settings and iTunes & App Stores. But it appears things are finally about to change.

The new update includes several cosmetic and background changes that shall make it easier for people to interact with their iPhones and iPads. While not exactly groundbreaking, iOS 11 does bring some useful features and improvements to the table like peer-to-peer Apple Pay and a redesigned Control Center. The feature will be available when the mobile operating system is released.

The world's most valuable company has introduced a "Do Not Disturb While Driving" (DNDWD) feature as a part of iOS 11 update. So all iPhone and iPad models featuring a 64-bit chip, the A7 will be allowed to run iOS 11. From there, you will have the ability to slide a bar from grey to green to enable Offload Unused Apps, or to turn the feature off. This lets you see how the update will effect your library.

This shift will have significant implications for users who still rely on older apps that aren't updated often or, in some cases, may not have been updated in years.

Twitter user Devon T has revealed that iOS 11 has a new volume indicator that no longer obstructs the centre of the screen, as it does now. Developers of those apps should take note of the situation and update their apps if they want to keep them in a working situation. Apple announced in 2014 that 64-bit support would be a requirement for any app created after February 1, and the requirements have been stepped up bit by bit since then. We break down all the news and tell you what you really need to know on this episode of Geared Up.
