Dodgers' Yu Darvish lifted with back tightness on Wednesday

Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

Trailing 4-2, Yasiel Puig's two-run double drove in the tying and go-ahead runs to beat the Chicago White Sox 5-4 on Wednesday night for the Dodgers' second comeback win in two games.

Darvish got a no-decision after pitching six innings and leaving with Chicago up 3-2. Darvish left the game, citing the back issue that he said began in his previous start at Arizona.

NOTES: Dodgers LHP Clayton Kershaw (back) threw a 38-pitch, two-inning simulated game Wednesday.

"Between innings I talked to Kershaw and he asked me how do you feel", Darvish said through a translator.

Leury Garcia got the long ball parade started when he hit a first-pitch fastball from Darvish just inside the right-field foul pole for a leadoff home run. He walked four and struck out four.

However, at this point today's Dodgers are equal in the overall standings with the Boys of Summer, as they reached 50 games over.500 for just the first time since 1953. First pitch is scheduled for 4:10PM PST.

It was the first time in franchise history the White Sox homered in consecutive games on the first pitch.

Delmonico has reached base safely in each of his first 13 games to start his big league career and is now riding an 11-game hit streak.

Dodgers reliever Ross Stripling (2-4) pitched one scoreless inning for the win.

Hernandez led off the fourth inning with a home run off Rodon to left-center field, tying the game at 2. He homered again on the first pitch from Tony Watson leading off the eighth. He made it three home runs in his first four at-bats against Rodon.

Justin Turner the Dodgers' talented hitter said the team was not focusing on going 60, 70 or more games over.500, adding that they wont to figure out what they need to do to win this year's World Series. Renteria managed the Cubs in 2014, but the team went 73-89 and he was sacked. The Dodgers will fly to Detroit on Thursday and begin a three-game interleague series against the Tigers on Friday. Still, Judge's feat is impressive, and given the nature of his game and the state of baseball these days, it's not hard to imagine him striking out in three or four more straight games anyway.
