The company received 372 reports of the clear plastic layer peeling and bubbling on the plates and bowls.

Attention, parents: If your little ones use Playtex plates and bowls designed for children, then it's probably a good idea to heed this new recall. The bowls were sold at places like Babies 'R Us, Target, Walmart and Amazon from October 2009 to August 2017.

Some of them include DC Super Friends, cars, superheroes, construction scenes, giraffes, princesses, etc.

Playtex is recalling 3.6 million children's plates and bowls due to a choking hazard.

The product number 18-001 was recalled because of the clear plastic layer over the graphics, according to the commission.

There are so many baby product recalls that sometimes it can be hard to keep up.

"Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled plates and bowls and take them away from young children".

The plates and bowls were sold separately, and together as a set. They can also be returned to distributor Edgewell Personal Care Canada for a full refund.

None of the other Playtex products are affected by the recall.
