Kevin Spacey Sexual Harassment Allegations Suspends 'House of Cards' Production

Unruh, former news anchor for ABC affiliate WCVB, said Spacey provided her 18-year-old son with numerous drinks before reaching down his trousers and grabbing his genitals.

She said Spacey tried to get her son to go with him to an after-hours party. Unruh's son reportedly told the actor he was over 21.

In a tearful press conference, Heather Unruh said her "star-struck" son had been at a bar in Nantucket in July 2016 with the actor, who she claimed had bought him "drink after drink".

Spacey has not commented on Unruh's claim. She said police on Nantucket island in MA are now investigating a report the young man has filed.

Ms Unruh said embarrassment and fear meant her son did not inform authorities at the time, but that he had filed a police report following the tide of allegations against Harvey Weinstein last month.

Nantucket Police Lt. Angus C. MacVicar told WBZ-TV that he could not confirm or deny the report, adding that "reports of sexual assaults are confidential under Mass".

Spacey also came out as gay in the same statement saying, "As those closest to me know, in my life I have had relationships with both men and women".

"There was no consent", she said.

Production on House of Cards has been indefinitely suspended since October 31, and Netflix executives have decided the streaming network won't air new episodes if the actor remains involved in the series. That's when a woman Unruh and Garabedian are now pleading to to come forward approached the visibly shaken teen to ask if he was OK. In the days since, numerous others have also come forward to make various allegations of sexual harassment and assault against Spacey.

Rapp, the actor best known for his role in the Broadway production of "Rent", last week claimed that Spacey made sexual advances against him in 1986, when he was 14.

"I want to see Kevin Spacey have the hand of justice come down on him, not just for my son but for the many others who have yet to speak their truth". "That was an appalling attempt to deflect attention away from what you really are: a sexual predator". He said his client spoke with Nantucket police last week, and they are conducting a criminal investigation.

Spacey has not responded to the mounting allegations but apologized to Rapp for what he called "deeply inappropriate drunken behavior".
