No word if "structural issues" at The Ridge Apartments on Colorado Blvd. are actually to blame.

Video posted to social media shows a crowd of people jumping up and down in the third-floor apartment before the floor collapsed, tumbling into the second-floor unit.

According to Denton firefighters the cause of the collapse could have been too much jumping.

Only minor injuries were reported, Denton Police said.

"They have parties quite a bit, nearly every weekend", Carley Carroll told NewsFix. "That's life threatening. If we were in our living room, we wouldn't have made it out because by what we've seen, it's just completely gone".

"We've called and said, 'It looks like the ceiling is going to cave in, ' so I feel like with us saying that, there could've been more that was done", she said.

Managers of the Ridge at North Texas apartment complex told reporters they relocating about 50 residents as a result of the incident.
