Magic's Arron Afflalo, Timberwolves' Bjelica get into fight at game

Arron Afflalo fight

Between yesterday's Ben Simmons-Kyle Lowry beef and the Houston Rockets' attempt to invade the Clippers' locker room, it's been a insane week in the Association...and it's only two days old.

Orlando Magic guard Arron Afflalo has been suspended two games by the National Basketball Association for an altercation on Tuesday in which he attempted to punch Minnesota Timberwolves forward Nemanja Bjelica, league sources told Yahoo Sports. It was a pretty minor collision, but Afflalo took exception and pushed off on Bjelica. Both were ejected for the incident. But Afflalo missed, so Bjelica put him in a headlock. He also didn't throw a punch back at any point of the altercation.

This comes as no surprise, but is surely heartening to the perturbed Timberwolves fans who were wondering why Afflalo wasn't suspended by the league office on Wednesday.

"I don't want to make like he's a bad guy, maybe he had a bad day", Bjelica said after the game.

Afflalo did not give any statement about the incident immediately after the game. The rest of the game was played cleanly.
