Sedgwick County prosecutors on Tuesday filed charges against the woman arrested in the killing of a Wichita mother and the kidnapping of the victim's newborn baby. The Sedgwick County District Attorney's office says Sesmas bonded out, but wouldn't comment on why no charges were filed. According to the family of the victim, getting Baby Sophia back safe is the best possible outcome they could have hoped for in the midst of so much tragedy. (more...)
