Three of the eight hurricanes are forecast to be Category 3 or stronger on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale. This has a 70% chance of developing into a tropical system (depression or tropical storm) within the next 48 hours. However, any shift to the left of the forecast track could result in the system, affecting Antigua and Barbuda and the rest of the northeast Caribbean. (more...)
