A 14-year-old girl, who can not be identified due to a publication ban, was also stabbed and is now recovering in hospital. Police say a shoeless man wielding a knife walked into the school and attacked Reimer and her 14-year-old friend. Pound commended school staff who intervened in the assault and were able to restrain the assailant until police arrived. Pound also addressed a six-second cellphone video of the attack that has been posted and shared on social media. (more...)
